Greg Praises ‘World Beating’ Pocklington Company During Visit

Greg has paid a fact-finding visit to Detectamet in Pocklington, a company manufacturing products helping to make food production around the world much safer. 

Detectamet designs and produces X-ray detectable equipment which can easily be recovered and extracted if it accidentally gets dropped into foodstuffs at food production and packaging plants. They also make products for use in pharmaceutical manufacturing and medical procedures. 

The company has the biggest inventory of ‘detectable’ products in the world and produces them to an internationally recognised standard.

After his tour of the production lines, Sir Greg praised the company: “Detectamet has become a world-beating company of international renown, playing a vital part in making food chains and other processes safer.”
